The Last Few Months

The last few months have flown by. We celebrated Christmas in the snow in Idaho, Valentine's Day in the rain in Sacramento, had a visit from Coby for the Tour of California bike race, and a visit from Grandma Pfeiffer where Kirstin learned how to play on the computer. Now, Kirstin will not allow anyone else on the computer, so our blog posts have decreased dramatically. Thanks Grandma Pfeiffer! We also had a battle royale with home invaders--ants. After completely clearing the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and garage, we finally prevailed.

We have enjoyed the mild winter months in Sacramento. We took a trip to the Sacramento Zoo which helped Kirstin practice her animal sounds. Autumn oriented at Sacramento Memorial Hospital as an RN in Labor and Delivery. She will continue working on a per diem basis--only two shifts a month.

And finally, we found out that Kirstin is having a baby brother in July! She loves babies and will be a great big sister.

Here are some pictures and videos.

We emptied all the cupboards, took down the microwave, and washed all the dishes--and the ants went to the garage. They were in our car for a day or two, but have since disappeared, hopefully for good.

Kirstin loves the zoo--the lions were her favorite.

Kirstin has not been off the computer since Grandma showed her how to play...

November was a busy month! Here are some pictures.

* When we went to have our family pictures taken, bear had to come. He is in most of the pictures. More pictures to come . . .

* To Autumn's surprise Kirstin's hair fits into one ponytail! So cute!

* Kirstin likes to pick out her own clothes when she is dancing to the music. She also likes to carry ALL of her toys around at the same time.

* We took our 2nd annual Crump Family trip to the beach the day after Thanksgiving. Kirstin now says, "beach!" The weather was nice and we are looking forward to next years trip too.

PUMPKIN

Kirstin enjoyed helping Autumn make Halloween Sugar Cookies. She would pinch a little bit of the dough, eat it, and say "Mmmmmm!"

We had Kirstin practice wearing her pumpkin costume all of October. At first she wouldn't even keep it on. By trick-or-treating time she loved her costume. We ask her, "Kirstin, where is the pumpkin?" She returns with it and wants help putting it on. A few days after Halloween, Autumn went on a walk. Kirstin insisted on wearing her costume again. So there was Autumn, pushing around Kirstin in her pumpkin! We had quite a few smiles.

Our Fall Tradition:
Autumn makes a fall dinner each year. It is called, "Autumn Pumpkin." Kirstin thought it was interesting watching Mommy put dinner inside the pumpkin!

Another Week in the Life of Kirstin

Because of State budget cuts, Kirstin is the new volunteer fireman for Sacramento.

Kirstin and Jeff and the first battle versus the Tree Stump! The Stump won! We helped Kirstin make her first mud pies . . . She didn't need any help learning how to eat them.

In effort to go "more green," the Crump Family has decided to bike places. Kirstin enjoys sitting in her bike trailer with "Bu," aka Bear. Maybe we will actually have to purchase a trailer instead of borrowing the neighbors!

Kirstin, like her Mother, loves doing laundry. . . at least the unfolding part.

Doesn't that look like Aunt Jessie 21 years ago?

Walker, CA Ranger . . .Grandma this one's for you!
