Kirstin on her first day of Preschool. On the ride home she said, "I did a lot of really nice things today."

Jeff completed his first Olympic Triathlon in the beginning of August. We camped on the beach the night before. Starting at 2 am we heard Jared in the tent saying, "Oooh . . . . ooh!" every time the waves crashed on the beach. He then would stand up in his pack-&-play and say, "Dadda? Titin? Mama?" He was so excited to be in a tent camping that he couldn't sleep!!

We celebrated our 5th wedding Anniversary in Mexico. We flew into Guadalajara and met friends at the LDS temple. We spent the remainder of our trip in Puerta Vallarta exploring the beach and spending time together.

July 16th -- Jared turned 1!

Kirstin enjoying her "SQUIRT Time" (Silent, Quiet, Uninterrupted, Restful, Time). She laid out all of her puzzles, mixed all the pieces in the box and organized them for about 45 minutes. Autumn loves "SQUIRT Time" too!

Jared and his friend Tama! Jared kisses him every time they see each other. This will be a fun picture to show these boys when they get older.

One of Kirstin's yearly goals is to learn to ride her tricycle. Jared, however, might learn before she does! He loves to play with the bike. Autumn lets Jared ride to the mailbox on it. If only he could reach the peddles!

Our garden has been so plentiful and fun for the children. Kirstin loves picking fresh peas and beans for dinner. One day Autumn saw Jared sitting down leaning his back against the strawberry barrel. He was reaching up with his mouth and nibbling on a ripe strawberry that was hanging over the side.

One Sunday we were all ready for church early; so we decided to take a picture of everyone all dressed up in their Sunday Best.
